3-day gorilla tracking safari typically includes activities focused on observing mountain gorillas in their natural habitat, often in countries like Uganda or Rwanda. Here’s a general outline of what such a safari might include as described
Day 1 :Arrival Kigali International Airport
When you arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by our English Speaking tour guide who will take you for a city tour of in Kigali. Here you will have an opportunity be oriented about the beautiful country of thousand hills .Then drive to Virunga National Park s a national park located in the Albertine Rift Valley in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Day 2 Gorilla tracking -Volcanoes National park
After having breakfast at the lodge, you will start your morning drive to the Volcanoes National Park Headquarters to begin your trek into the forest in search for the mountain Gorillas. Here you will have an opportunity to experience the rain forest where you see the colorful African birds for example Rwenzori Turaco, Francolinus nobilis, forest ground thrush, Musaphaga, and others. Skimmers, shoebills, storks, egrets, grey herons, and ibises are common in wetlands.. Have lunch at the lodge and later relax at the lodge to chill from the tiresome and exciting activity of the day.
Day 3 ;Departure
This morning you will drive back to Kigali City and on your itinerary genocide memorial center, you will have an opportunity to do so before transferring to the airport for your departure flight out.

June to September is one of the peak seasons for any one planning to d o a gorilla safari in Rwanda. The weather is drier, making hiking conditions more favorable. Many travelers visit during these months. And December to February these are also dry seasons, this period also offers good trekking conditions.
The main place of gorilla experience in Rwanda is Volcanoes National Park, located near Musanze.
A valid gorilla trekking permit, a moderate level of fitness (for hiking), and adherence to park rules are essential. Participants must between 16 years and above.
According to Rwanda Development Board the gorilla permit costs in Rwanda costs $1,500 per person. Prices may vary, so it’s best to check with official sources or tour operators.
